As of July 2026

We are producing a digital video chronicle cultural film series on New York's cultural landmarks — a Cultural GPS for venues where coffee, craft, and public life still meet. We would like to feature your café with dignity: light photography, ambient sound, and a brief conversation with the owner or a designated lead, arranged on a schedule unobtrusive to your daily operations.

Chronicle-style documentary Boutique & independent focus Non-sensational Off-peak preferred

Who we are

Chronicle of Convergence (CoC) is a digital cultural magazine and social media channel exploring the venues where culture, society, and technology intersect in American life—specifically museums, cafés, and churches. We don’t just compile destinations; we inspire people to view these points of convergence (human vs. artificial intelligence, heritage vs. innovation, arts vs. technology) through a deeper lens. Our episodes are chronicle-style field guides, avoiding lazy listicles or “best of” rankings. Human voice only; the host is never on camera; the subject venue is the focus.

Why your café

  • Independent / boutique character — not a chain ranking
  • A room with a real practice: coffee, price honesty, atmosphere
  • A story neighbors and visitors can recognize without hype

What we are not

  • Not a hard-sell ad or paid “#ad” placement by default
  • Not a review score, roast, or gotcha interview
  • Not a multi-crew disruption of your peak rush

The ask — one appointment

We request a short, scheduled visit to obtain venue permission and, if you agree, a brief on-site or off-site interview with the owner or your designated spokesperson.

How we work on site

Crew Solo host-producer (one person) · handheld · no flash · no tripod unless you approve
Timing Prefer Tue–Thu mid-morning or mid-afternoon (after rush / before dinner crush). Weekend only if pre-booked.
Duration Venue capture typically 20–40 minutes · Interview 10–20 minutes · Total often under one hour
People No guest faces without consent · staff only with permission · host never appears on camera
Credit On-screen and/or description credit for the café by name (and website/IG if you wish)

What you get

  • Respectful portrayal in a cultural series — not a meme edit
  • Named credit to an audience that values craft and place
  • A simple record of permission (email confirmation)

What we need from you

  • Yes / no on venue photography & ambient film
  • Yes / no on interview (who, when)
  • Any no-photo zones or brand rules
  • Preferred off-peak window this month
  • Your cafe's best story
